Research on the Influencing Factors from Choice Action of Organic Tea Production in Fujian Tea Enterprises

Abstract: With the more attention paid on the quality safety of food by various government and their consumers, the demand on no pollution, pollution-free food is increasing, but the supply of organic tea was in significant increase. By data gained from 383 tea enterprises, this paper used the binary Logit model to find the influencing factors from choice action of organic tea production. The conclusion is that scale effect factors such as the size of base area, enterprise producing area for tea; brand factors such as brand at or above the provincial level showed positive effect on the organic tea production. The inputs of labor, capital and technology played an important role in the economic efficiency promotion of organic tea from tea enterprise.
