It has been reported that tea polyphenols showed positive effects on Alzheimer's disease by inhibiting the accumulation of abnormal proteins, antioxidative, modulating neurotransmitter levels, regulating cell signaling pathways and anti-inflammatory, etc. In the present paper, the prevention of tea polyphenols on Alzheimer's disease was summarized, and their mechanisms were discussed as well.
